Millpond Web

See your website before you spend a dollar.

Most web designers want a deposit before you see anything. We do it the other way around: the site comes first, the bill comes after you've said yes.

1. We build a preview

We start with the details your customers can already find: business name, address, hours, the kind of work you do. From that we build a complete, working website. It isn't a sketch or a mock-up; you can open it on your phone and tap around.

The preview lives at a private link that only you get. It's hidden from Google and other search engines, and it isn't listed anywhere on this site.

Ask for one with the contact form or by emailing hello@millpondweb.com. Tell us your business name and town; a link to your Facebook page or Google listing helps.

2. You tell us what to change

Look it over and reply with anything you want different. What people usually send:

  • Their own photos of the food, the shop, the work or the team
  • The full menu, service list or prices
  • Different wording, or a few lines about the business in their own words
  • Holiday hours, specials, a hiring notice
  • Links to online ordering, booking, or their social pages

Changes during the preview are free. If we haven't heard from you after 30 days, the preview comes down.

3. Say yes and it goes live

When you're happy with it, we put it live on your domain. If you already own one (yourbusiness.com), we connect it. If you don't, we help you pick one.

$49 a month starts on the day it goes live, or $490 if you'd rather pay yearly. There's a 3-month minimum; after that you can cancel any time by email.

After it's live

When something changes, email us: new hours, a closed-for-vacation notice, a price change, new photos. We make the change and reply when it's done. Keeping hours and details current matters for customers and for search; Google's own advice to local businesses is to keep your information complete and accurate (Google Business Profile Help).
